Workgroup | Market operator

In accordance to the Law of Ukraine "About the Electricity Market", the Market Operator provides administration of the Market Rules of the Day-Ahead Market and the Intraday Market (hereinafter - DAM/IDM Rules). Article 2 of the Law defines the right of market participants to submit proposals for amendments to the specified legal act to the relevant public authorities and the operator, which is responsible for development, approval and/or administration of DAM/IDM Rules.

Provisions of DAM/IDM Rules define the procedure for amending the document. In particular, the Administrator ensures collection and processing of proposals from market participants regarding need to amend the DAM/IDM Rules.

Taking into account the experience of previous work on drafting regulatory acts by working groups, which, in particular, consisted of experts of state authorities, the Market Operator plans to form agreed positions on complex issues that will arise when introducing changes to regulatory acts that regulate the functioning of the electricity market, attract a wide range of experts from government officials and market participants.

In this regard, the Market Operator has created a working group to prepare changes to DAM/IDM Rules.
