AUGUST 2026: THE BASE ELECTRICITY PRICE INDEX ON UKRAINE'S DAY-AHEAD MARKET AMOUNTED TO UAH 5 893,24/MWh

The BASE electricity price index on Ukraine's Day-Ahead Market (DAM) for August 2026 amounted to UAH 5,893.24/MWh. The weighted average electricity trading price on the DAM during the period stood at UAH 6,187.65/MWh, while the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the Intraday Market (IDM) was UAH 6,129.85/MWh.
Trading volume on the Day-Ahead Market increased by 5.71%, while the Intraday Market recorded a 17.41% increase. In total, 2,849,867.7 MWh of electricity was accepted across both market segments during August 2026. Compared to July, demand on the DAM increased by 7.17%, while supply increased by 4%. On the IDM, demand increased by 16.11%, whereas supply decreased by 8.34%.
