FIRST 20 DAYS OF JULY 2026: THE BASE ELECTRICITY PRICE INDEX ON THE DAY-AHEAD MARKET REACHED UAH 4,551.89/MWh

The BASE electricity price index on the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) for the first 20 days of July 2026 amounted to UAH 4,551.89/MWh, representing a 12.78% decrease compared to the corresponding period of June. The weighted average electricity trading price during this period stood at UAH 4,788.92/MWh. On the Intraday Market (IDM), the weighted average price of accepted electricity during the first 20 days of July amounted to UAH 4,510.66/MWh.

Electricity trading volume on the Day-Ahead Market during the first 20 days of July 2026 totalled 1,616,584.5 MWh, while 149,101.6 MWh was accepted on the Intraday Market. Compared to the corresponding period of June, the trading volume on the DAM during the first 20 days of July increased by 3.91%, supply rose by 8.05%, and demand increased by 3.31%.
