FIRST 10 DAYS OF MAY 2026: ELECTRICITY PRICE INDEX ON UKRAINE’S DAY-AHEAD MARKET AMOUNTS TO UAH 3,952.76/MWh

The electricity price index for base load on the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) for the first 10 days of May 2026 amounted to UAH 3,952.76/MWh, which is 13.28% lower than the price recorded during the corresponding period of April. The weighted average buy-sell electricity price on the DAM during the first ten-day period of May this year amounted to UAH 4,083.67/MWh. On the Intraday Market (IDM), the weighted average price of electricity accepted during the first 10 days of May amounted to UAH 4,511.03/MWh.
The volume of electricity traded on the Day-Ahead Market during the first 10 days of May 2026 amounted to 691,199.6 MWh, while 82,847.2 MWh was accepted on the Intraday Market. Compared to the first ten-day period of April, trading volumes on the DAM during the first 10 days of May this year decreased by 16.14%, while trading volumes on the IDM declined by 15.69%.
