Within the framework of Open Government Week, on 20 May 2026 at 14:00, JSC “Market Operator” will hold a webinar titled: “Integrity and Transparency in the Wholesale Electricity Market.”
During the event, key aspects of the functioning of the wholesale electricity market will be discussed from the perspective of ensuring transparency and integrity.
In particular, the webinar will cover what constitutes insider information in the wholesale electricity market, mechanisms for preventing market abuse, obligations of wholesale market participants, as well as how monitoring of the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) and Intraday Market (IDM) operations is carried out.
The webinar is aligned with the principles of the international initiative “Open Government Partnership” and is aimed at increasing transparency in the functioning of the wholesale electricity market, clarifying rules and requirements for market participants, as well as strengthening trust in pricing mechanisms and market oversight.
Target audience: participants of the wholesale electricity market, business representatives, public authorities, analysts, media representatives, and the expert community.
