MARCH 2026: THE BASE ELECTRICITY PRICE INDEX ON THE DAY-AHEAD MARKET AMOUNTS TO UAH 7,074.76/MWh

The BASE electricity price index on the day-ahead market (DAM) of Ukraine in March 2026 amounts to UAH 7,074.76/MWh, which is 27.70% lower than in February. The weighted average purchase and sale price of electricity on the DAM for this period amounts to UAH 7,359.65/MWh, while the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the intraday market (IDM) amounts to UAH 6,684.63/MWh.
The trading volume on the day-ahead market decreased by 0.34%, while on the intraday market it decreased by 20.58%; in March 2026, a total of 3,331,823.7 MWh was accepted across both market segments. On the DAM in March of this year, compared to February, demand decreased by 2.72%, while supply increased by 12.86%. On the IDM, demand increased by 3.71%, while supply rose by 37.69%.
