BUILDING A PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITY: ANOTHER 16 PARTICIPANTS HAVE COMPLETED THE «MARKET MODEL» COURSE BY JSC «MARKET OPERATOR»

This week, 16 energy sector professionals took part in the «Market Model» course delivered within the framework of the Program of JSC «Market Operator» aimed at increasing awareness of the functioning of Ukraine’s electricity market.

For nearly two years, the Program has been bringing together representatives of both the private and public sectors around a shared objective—developing a deep understanding of market mechanisms and fostering responsible participation in its development. Over this period, the Social Program of JSC «Market Operator»  has evolved into a platform for the exchange of experience, practical knowledge, and the formation of a professional community.

The «Market Model» course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the structure of the electricity market, the principles of interaction with the regulator, the transmission system operator, and other market participants. The program also covers export and import operations, key aspects of trading strategies and imbalance management, as well as the mechanisms for buying and selling electricity across different market segments.

Leading industry experts share their experience, including representatives of Ukrenergo, SE «Guaranteed Buyer», PJSC Ukrhydroenergo, as well as specialists of JSC «Market Operator» and companies.

The Program also has a social dimension: funds received from the provision of advisory services are directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the Program fulfills a strategic function—developing professional competencies, strengthening the industry community, and shaping a new generation of responsible market participants.
