The BASE period electricity price index on Ukraine’s Day-Ahead Market (DAM) in January 2026 amounted to UAH 8,253.26 per MWh. The weighted average purchase and sale price of electricity on the DAM during this period amounted to UAH 8,381.08 per MWh, while the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the Intraday Market (IDM) amounted to UAH 8,692.26 per MWh.
Trading volumes on the Day-Ahead Market increased by 11.00%, while on the Intraday Market they decreased by 15.27%, and in January 2026 a total of 3,807,899.5 MWh was accepted across both market segments. On the DAM, in January of this year, demand increased by 9.14% compared to December of the previous year, while supply increased by 10.14%. On the IDM, demand increased by 15.15%, and supply increased by 13.97%.
