The electricity price index for the BASE load period on Ukraine’s Day-Ahead Market (DAM) in May 2025 amounts to UAH 4,421.95/MWh, which is 3.84% higher than in April of this year. The weighted average purchase-sale price of electricity on the DAM for this period is UAH 4,638.31/MWh, while the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the Intraday Market (IDM) is UAH 4,216.48/MWh.
The volume of trades on the Day-Ahead Market increased by 4.07%, while on the Intraday Market, it decreased by 10.61%. In total, 2,458,336.0 MWh were accepted across both market segments in May 2025.
On the DAM in May this year, demand increased by 4.29%, while supply grew by 0.95% compared to April. On the IDM, demand increased by 1.03%, while supply decreased by 17.75%.
