NEW COURSE FOR PRODUCERS: TRADING STRATEGY AND PROVISION OF BALANCING SERVICES

On June 2, 2025, as part of the JSC "Market Operator" Awareness-Raising Program on the functioning of the electricity market of Ukraine, a new course is launching — "Producers: Market and Balancing". It is specifically designed for electricity producers seeking to effectively sell their electricity across all market segments and to provide balancing services on the Balancing Market.

What the course offers:

• A clear understanding of how the electricity market operates in Ukraine
• Schedules, pricing, and market timing — explained accessibly and practically
• Principles and obligations for producers participating in the Balancing Market
• Principles of Market Management System operation
• Balancing Market products, submission of offers, and execution of dispatch instructions
• Balancing Market pricing mechanisms for Balancing Service Providers

Why is it important?

Under the realities of war, issues of energy efficiency, autonomy, and market participant responsibility are coming to the forefront. Producers must not only generate electricity, but also competently sell it.
This new course will help producers:
