The electricity price index for the BASE period on the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) of Ukraine in April 2025 amounts to UAH 4,258.63/MWh, which is 17.32% lower than in March of this year. The weighted average purchase and sale price of electricity on the DAM for this period is UAH 4,611.22/MWh, while the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the Intraday Market (IDM) is UAH 4,287.30/MWh.
The trading volume on the Day-Ahead Market decreased by 9.68%, and on the Intraday Market, it fell by 17.03%. In total, 2,388,371.2 MWh were accepted on both market segments in April 2025. In April, compared to March, demand on the DAM decreased by 10.08%, while supply decreased by 0.83%. On the IDM, demand increased by 2.83%, and supply grew by 1.63%.
