The BASE electricity price index on Ukraine’s Day-Ahead Market (DAM) for March 2025 amounted to UAH 5,150.78/MWh. This is 12.30% lower than in February this year. The weighted average purchase and sale price of electricity on the DAM for this period was UAH 5,473.83/MWh, while the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the Intraday Market (IDM) was UAH 4,745.95/MWh.
The trading volume on the DAM decreased by 18.32%, while the IDM volume increased by 33.62%. In total, 2,662,702.0 MWh were accepted on both market segments in March 2025. Compared to February, demand on the DAM decreased by 18.44%, while supply dropped by 10.61%. On the IDM, demand increased by 40.53%, and supply rose by 44.45%.
