The base-load electricity price index on the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) for the first 20 days of January 2025 amounts to UAH 5,400.45/MWh. This is 8.57% lower than the corresponding indicator of the same month of the previous year. The weighted average purchase and sale price of electricity for this period stands at UAH 5,673.97/MWh. On the Intraday Market (IDM), the weighted average price of electricity accepted during the first 20 days of January amounts to UAH 5,700.93/MWh.
The trading volume of electricity on the Day-Ahead Market for the first 20 days of January 2025 totals 1,675,725.2 MWh, while 105,201.9 MWh were accepted on the Intraday Market. Compared to the same period of December 2024, the DAM trading volume for the first 20 days of January decreased by 0.19%, supply increased by 8.94%, and demand declined by 3.09%.
