DECEMBER 2023: THE ELECTRICITY BASE PRICE INDEX ON THE DAM OF UKRAINE IS 3 654,13 UAH/MWH

The price index for base-load electricity on the day-ahead market is 3 654,13 UAH/MWh for December 2023. The weighted average price for the purchase and sale of electricity on the DAM was 4 101,86 UAH/MWh for that period, and the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the IDM was 4 248,17 UAH/MWh.
Trading volume on DAM increased by 8,18%, as well as it is increased by 35,88% on IDM. 2 568 914,2 MWh were accepted in both market segments in December 2023. The demand on the DAM increased by 8,25% in December compared to November, while supply has increased by 10,76%. Demand on the IDM increased by 36,97%, as well as supply has increased by 2,68%.
