OCTOBER 2023: THE ELECTRICITY BASE PRICE INDEX ON THE DAM OF UKRAINE IS 3 759,61 UAH/MWH

The price index for base-load electricity on the day-ahead market is 3 759,6 UAH/MWh for October 2023. This is 1,33% more than the DAM average price in September 2023. The weighted average price for the purchase and sale of electricity on the DAM was 4 065,58 UAH/MWh for that period, and the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the IDM was 4 348,37 UAH /MWh.
Trading volume on DAM increased by 16,18%, as well as it is increased by 82,07% on IDM. 1 645 526,8 MWh were accepted in both market segments in October 2023. In October, demand on the DAM increased by 16,37% in October compared to September, while supply has increased by 19,53%. Demand on the IDM increased by 74,65%, while supply has increased by 38,29%.
Average electricity prices on Ukraine's DAM are 6,84% lower than the DAM average prices of Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary.
