The price index of base-load electricity on the day-ahead market amounts to 2 774,35 UAH/MWh for the first 10 days of May 2023. This figure is 7,69% lower than the average price for the same period of April.
The DAM weighted average price of electricity purchase and sale is 2 786,47 UAH/MWh for the first 10 days of May. The weighted average price of electricity traded on the intraday market during this period amounts to 3 143,28 UAH/MWh.
The DAM minimum electricity price of the BASE period was fixed on May 01, 2023 and amounted to 2 606,23 UAH/MWh, when the maximum price of 2 906,58 UAH/MWh was on May 09, 2023.
The volume of electricity trades on the day-ahead market was 606 252,1 MWh for 10 days of May 2023, whereas 20 702,4 MWh of electricity were traded on the intraday market. The DAM volume of electricity trades increased by 20,34%, the supply increased by 20,30%, and the demand increased by 19,15% compared to the same period of April 2023.
The DAM price of BASE product in Romania amounts to 3 881,10 UAH/MWh, in Slovakia – 3 906,63 UAH/MWh, and in Hungary - 3 920,22 UAH/MWh for the first 10 days of May 2023.
