THE JSC MARKET OPERATOR HAS RECEIVED A POSITIVE FEEDBACK ON THE ORGANISATION OF THE DAM AND IDM WORK FROM INDEPENDENT AUDITOR

The auditing company AC Crowe Ukraine - a member of the Crowe Global international network, which is among the Top-10 largest auditors in the world, has completed with an audit of the JSC «Market Operator» on its compliance with the provisions of the Rules of the day-ahead market and the intraday market.

"On the basis of the procedures performed and evidences obtained, nothing attracted our attention that would have led us to believe that during the period from January 1 to December 31, 2021 the JSC «Market Operator» did not comply with all essential aspects of the requirements of the DAM/IDM Rules, approved by the resolution of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission, dated on March 14, 2018 ¹ 308,» - said in the auditors' conclusion.

The auditors have verified the submission of the DAM/IDM orders for electricity purchase and sale by market participants, the correctness of the DAM/IDM trades results determination and related assessment, as well as the processes applied by the Market Operator to the data provided by companies. In addition, the auditors have tested the Market Operator`s software and analyzed the company's main business processes.

The auditors` positive opinion confirms the transparency of the JSC «Market Operator» work and and the reliability of the software complex, which is used for electricity trading conduction on the day-ahead and the intraday markets.
