A tariff for electricity purchase and sale transactions on the day-ahead market and the intraday market will be set at the level of 8,89 UAH/MWh (net of VAT) from November 21, 2022. This is 33% lower than the current Market Operator`s tariff.
The relevant decision was adopted today by the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission.
The reduction of the Market Operator`s tariff is explained by the growth of electricity trading volumes on the DAM and IDM, which amounted to 47,8% in the third quarter compared to the second quarter of this year, as well as the decrease in some items of the company's operating expenses.
The fixed payment for using the Market Operator`s software will be UAH 3 359,51 (net of VAT) from November 21. This decision is due to the growth of the euro exchange rate and the decrease in the number of companies selling and buying electricity at the Market Operator`s platform by 25%.
