MARKET OPERATOR HAS PRESENTED ITS WORK TO NORD POOL

The JSC «Market Operator» has presented its work to the largest pan-European energy exchange Nord Pool, which conducts electricity trading for the countries of the Northern and Baltic regions, the UK, as well as for the countries of the Central Western Europe - Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Poland.
«Market Operator has been acting under the European standards since 2019. The receiving of 100% instant payment by all participants who sell and buy electricity here is the advantage of the Ukrainian day-ahead market and the intraday market. Our DAM and IDM works 24/7, including weekends. We have been working in the same mode since the first day of russia's aggressive invasion to Ukraine», - emphasized the Acting General Director of the JSC «Market Operator» O.Havva during the online meeting.
Nord Pool representatives expressed their support to Ukraine in its fight against the enemy, told about their experience of the nominated market operator status obtaining for participation in the market coupling, as well as clearing operations that are conducted at the DAM and IDM, and noted their willingness to continue experience sharing with the JSC «Market Operator».
