THE FIRST HALF OF 2022: THE AVERAGE PRICE OF ELECTRICITY IN THE IPS OF UKRAINE AMOUNTS TO 2 250,80 UAH/MWh

The average price of electricity on the day-ahead market in the IPS of Ukraine amounts to 2 250,80 UAH/MWh in the first half of 2022. The weighted average price of electricity purchase and sale on the DAM is 2 490,92 UAH/MWh for this period. The weighted average price of electricity accepted during the first half of this year on the intraday market amounts to 2 329,29 UAH/MWh.

The maximum daily weighted average price of electricity purchase and sale in the IPS of Ukraine was recorded on January 13, 2022 and amounted to 3 286,30 UAH/MWh on the DAM, as well as on February 13 – 3 881,06 UAH/MWh on the IDM. The minimum daily weighted average price in the IPS of Ukraine was fixed on February 27, 2022 - 990,28 UAH/MWh on the DAM, as well as on February, 27 – 1 087,51 UAH/MWh on the IDM.

In the first half of 2022, 11 443 512,4 MW was accepted on the day-ahead market and 1 844 263,6 MW of electricity – on the intraday market.

The maximum daily accepted volume of trading in the IPS of Ukraine was recorded on January 4, 2022 and amounted to 169 738,7 MWh on the DAM, as well as on February 2 – 129 876,3 MWh on the IDM. The minimum daily volume of electricity purchase and sale in the IPS of Ukraine was fixed on May 15 – 6 550,3 MWh on the DAM, as well as on May 8 – 35,0 MWh on the IDM.
