10 DAYS OF JUNE 2022: THE PRICE INDEX OF BASE-LOAD ELECTRICITY ON THE DAM AMOUNTS TO 2223,82 UAH/MWh

The price index of base-load electricity on the day-ahead market for 10 days of June 2022 is stable – 2223,82 UAH/MWh. The DAM weighted average price of accepted electricity for this period is 1,39% lower than for 10 days of May, and amounts to 2255,72 UAH/MWh.

On the intraday market, the weighted average price of electricity purchase and sale decreased by 9,51% compared to 10 days of May, and amounts to 2494,90 UAH/MWh.

The volume of electricity purchase and sale on the day-ahead market declined by 41,28%, and is 154118,7 MWh for 10 days of June. On the intraday market, the accepted electricity volume increased by 103,76% and amounts to 6150,1MWh. This can be explained by the reduction of the IDM bottom price cap and the market participants` willings to minimize their unbalances.
