The Supervisory Board of JSC "Market Operator", which consists of Polish fund manager and industry Expert to EC Commission Lukasz Dziekonski, the management representative of the European Nord Pool power exchange Lina Masiuliene, Ukrainian lawyer Yuliya Zhytnyk and the state representative Olena Kovalchuk, met with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.
The further development of "Market Operator", in particular, the European integration vector of Ukrainian electricity spot market, was discussed. The Supervisory Board members emphasized that the main priorities of their work in the company are the market coupling with the EU member states and monopoly nominated electricity market operator (NEMO) approval, which is now the only correct decision within the coupling process with the European electricity market.
German Galushchenko expressed his support for the "Market Operator’s" initiatives and emphasized the importance of the European integration process of the Ukrainian energy industry.
