The price index of base-load electricity on the day-ahead market amounts to 3 199,59 UAH/MWh in September 2022. The DAM weighted average price of electricity purchase and sale is 3 503,26 UAH/MWh, and the IDM weighted average price amounts to 3 637,23 UAH/MWh for this period.
914 080 MW of electricity was accepted on the DAM, and 94 816 MW of electricity - on the IDM during September 2022. The demand on the day-ahead market increased by 20,4%, and the supply for electricity sale decreased by 5,9% in September. The demand for electricity purchase on the intraday market increased by 132,1%, and the supply decreased by 54,3%.
The DAM average prices of electricity in Ukraine are more than four times lower than the same prices on the day-ahead markets of Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.
