10 DAYS OF AUGUST 2022: THE PRICE INDEX OF BASE-LOAD ELECTRICITY ON THE DAM AMOUNTS TO 2847,89 UAH/MWh

The price index of base-load electricity on the day-ahead market for the first 10 days of August 2022 amounts to 2 847,89 UAH/MWh. The weighted average price of electricity purchase and sale is 2 949,10 UAH/MWh for this period. On the intraday market the weighted average price of electricity accepted during 10 days of August amounts to 2 869,23 UAH/MWh.
The DAM minimum electricity price of the BASE period was fixed on August 1, 2022 and amounted to 2 649,41 UAH/MWh, when the maximum price of 2 964,04 UAH/MWh was on August 7, 2022.
The volume of electricity trades on the day-ahead market for 10 days of August 2022 was 344 898,6 MWh, whereas on the intraday market 18 923,5 MWh of electricity were accepted.
The average prices on the day-ahead market are lower than the corresponding indicators of neighboring countries by 64,0%-79,9%, as well as on the intraday market – by 76,6%-79,4%.
