JSC Market Operator continues to communicate with European market operators on the further electricity market coupling of Ukraine with the countries of Eastern Europe.
Oleksandr Havva has conducted bilateral meetings with the leaders of Slovak OKTE and Hungarian HUPX that was devoted to the cooperation issues on the future integration of the electricity markets of Ukraine and the EU.
Slovaks and Hungarians shared their experience in the European electricity market, told about the benefits of market coupling and their way of obtaining the status of Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMO) in accordance with the EU Regulation 2015/1222/EU.
The Acting Director General of the JSC Market Operator told colleagues about the potential of the company, informed about the working conditions in the Ukraine`s spot market and appreciatd for the experiences exchange.
